Agreed. I love those old Peanuts strips. I grew up on them and the many Peanuts books that used to be out there.

Pure gold.

I hate to admit that this looks like a movie I'd enjoy (even if the enjoyment was a little on the guilty side), but I wonder who the target audience is - the under 12 set, adults who watch cartoons on Nickelodeon, or...fat old guys who like action movies (that last one would be my demographic)?

If the rest of the soundtrack is anything like this trailer's scoring, that's a big plus too. I dig the sloppy bass line and discordant percussion. It just fits.

The other trailer's soundrtrack (from the trailer currently on the movie web site) is just...the same. It's the same as every other Asian-bald-kid-saves-the-world type of film (c'mon, you have to admit there have been more than a few). The voiceover sounds like Mako, though - so that warrants bonus points (if it is him). Mako kicks ass.

Is it just me or do the ships in this other trailer look an awful lot like Star Destroyers?

You know, I never knew that an Emily the Strange book came out. I always just kept her in my head as small visual gags or quick jokes. I'll have to try out the book.

The art work looks fantastic!

That's cool. I think I had them on our test site at http://blazinkr8tionz.com (which currently has one of Greg's themes wrapped around it). I had to remove them because the images that you had in their place were making the web page render all wonky. Glad you were able to fix them.
